Stay The Course

keep calm, quote, inspirantional

I believe the best advice I received when I began my stork rental business nearly 12 years ago was to stay the course.  It takes time to build your business foundation. Therefore, it takes time to earn income from a busy stork rental business.  As you are building your business you may go through periods of time where you are doing all the right things to grow and market your business, yet you may not be seeing the results you’d dreamed of. Don’t allow yourself to become discouraged or tempted to quit.  It’s not uncommon for results to take longer than you planned. As you are working to grow your stork rentals, be patient with yourself and the process, and continue to reaffirm the belief in the outcome you desire. A strong vision of an outcome you truly desire is the foundation for persistence and self-discipline.

Here are some tips to help you stay the course:

1. Stay positive. Your attitude is very important. Keep it positive and know that you have what it takes to succeed. Think possibilities and you will be able to focus on the opportunities that present themselves to grow your business.

2. Be persistent. Stay committed and take action every day toward your goal. Patience and persistence will pay off in the end. Compare your efforts to those of a gardner. He plants a seed and waits for it to sprout and grow. He doesn’t see immediate results, but continues to water and fertilize the seed because he knows it will eventually grow into a beautiful flower.

3. Enjoy the process.  Take pleasure in each milestone and continue on the way.  And don’t forget that the journey toward success is a marathon, not a sprint.

Are you willing to stay the course?
